Day 3 (January 22th, 2018)

Monday (January 22th, 2018)

Let’s survive! Sure, it was the first day in DMMMSU. We woke up so early since we had to be there at 7 a.m. In the very first time, we joined the ceremony which was held every Monday and introduced ourself in front of the teachers and also students. I was so shy actually. They also introduced us to the president and other staff. If I remembered this day, it was very funny. We gave the gift from our university to the counsellor not to the president. Then, we were so confused because after we met him, we would also meet the President too. After thinking so hard, finally we found the solution. On Monday, the day was very crowded, we had so many shcedules to do like meeting with the staff, arranging the shcedule for teaching and also the mentor as well as talking about the dorm. Actually, it was not too bad, but we did not feel comfortable enough. After that, we went to the DMMMSU-NLUC Seceondary School, we started to observe and find out some informations we needed. The condition of the schools is very friendly since DMMMSU is one of university thats is eco-friendly. The curriculum that is used is very different with Indonesia since here, the curriculum is international curriculum. Then, the facilities here are quite good. All of the tools provide here, but the kind od the building of course different with us. Here, the time allotment for each subject is an hour. It is not too long but sometimes it is a little bit fast. In Secondary School. we have class 7 up to 12. It means class 7-9 are assumed as Junior High School if we want to make it the same with us and class 11-12 are Senior High School. The teachers and all of people here are very good. They are very kind and treat us so well.
